The Druk Path is Bhutan's most popular short trek — 5 or 6 days from Paro to Thimphu, crossing three high passes above 4,000m, with camp nights at alpine lakes (Jimilang Tsho, Simkotra Tsho).
Highlights: Phajoding monastery, Jangchu Lhakhang, and views of Mt Jomolhari. Full support: guides, cooks, horsemen with pack ponies.
Good first Himalayan trek — but genuine altitude (up to 4,210m). Not for unfit travelers.
