Village homestay — 2 nights
Phobjikha / Haa Valley 2 nights Up to 4from $90 / per person, full board
Stay with a Bhutanese farming family — cook, farm, sit by the bukhari.
About
A 2-night homestay with a registered farming family in Phobjikha or Haa valley. Help with farm chores (feeding cattle, picking vegetables), cook with the family over a wood stove, sleep under heavy yak-wool blankets.
Bring warm layers — homestays have no central heating, only a bukhari wood stove in the living room. Bathrooms are shared and basic.
Not a hotel. That's the point.
